I want to keep my app simple, but that doesn’t mean it has to be limited.

The core version of the app keeps things simple, offering minimal access both internally and externally. It operates fully offline, allowing exports only in PDF and .db formats. Overall, I’m satisfied with the current core view. Moving forward, we should focus on making it more user-friendly and optimized.

By the way, I’m considering adding just one new feature: a default tagging system. However, it will need some design tweaks to avoid cluttering our core interface.

  • More secure than ever.
  • Easy to understand.
  • Maximum stability.
  • Completely offline.
  • Limited capabilities.
  • No extensions available.
  • No online capabilities.

Official Extensions

It's just a list to keep you updated on my official Valot extensions and plans.

Calendar Export

Export as an .ics file to your local calendar or cloud services like Google Calendar, NextCloud, or Apple Calendar.

Tags System

Our experimental tag system lets us test extensions and see just how well we can tweak our app using only those extensions.

WebDav Synch

Easily sync across all your devices or save it directly to your local calendar. You can link up with cloud services like Google Calendar, NextCloud, and Apple Calendar using WebDAV.

System Shell Tray Supports

This extension lets you track time right from your system tray. It works best with Gnome and XFCE.

Tasks notes

Introduce a simple note-taking feature in our app.

Compact View Themplates

Introduce a simple note-taking feature in our app.

The catalog of public extensions should be available on our website or in our Git repository. I'm currently working on it.

AI Integration

AI is really crucial for users today. But do you really think you need it more than a solid interface design?

Design resources

I’ve been working on designs inspired by Gnome. I tried to capture the essence of Gnome's Human Interface Design in Figma. You can check out the current state of my projects here.
